Consulting Services for Payers and Purchasers

MAG provides professional services for payers and purchasers on an ongoing and ad-hoc basis. Previous and ongoing projects include:

• Response to the Michigan Medicaid HMO program 
• Network feasibility analysis in the mid-Michigan and southeastern Michigan markets
• Benefit design management, including:
  • Analysis of claims experience to identify high cost service categories and trends in expenditures
  • Development of network management strategies to slow the increase in cost expenditures
  • Consultation with payer and recommendations for benefit modification
  • Liaison with third party administrators (TPA)
